Comet Lovejoy in the Morning

Messier 46 - The Demise of a Star

This is one of my favorite open star clusters as it has a stark uniquity, one of the stars is dying and has entered the Planetary Nebula stage of its life and is visible as the blue ring on the top-side of the photo. Magical Moonlit Cliff Walk
